Professional Interests:

My research interests are in the fields of geometric modeling and scientific visualization. My primary focus is on mathematical definitions of shape and related topics such as methods for quantitative comparisons of shape, methods for identifying similar and different shapes, and optimal representations of shape.

As illustrated by the three books I have co-authored with Gerald Farin, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion for mathematics, geometric modeling, and scientific visualization.
